Since last Monday May 5th is already available COQ BELONDRADE 2013 SELECTION, our olive oil extra virgin from the Arbequina variety. The 2013 harvest in Serós is characterized by a very dry summer and autumn with high temperatures and no precipitation.   COQ SELECTION BELONDRADE has a very low acidity and high fruitiness similar to previous years with hints of almond, tomato and artichoke, but with more intensity herbaceous aromas and a slight touch of spice. Formats that can be found in our "liquid gold" is 250 and 500 ml.


13. 09. 2012. BELONDRADE team opened the first day of harvest

Yesterday began in a very special way the BELONDRADE 2012 harvest, as it was the winery team who hand-picked part of tempranillo vines from the plot Clarisa. 3. 09. 2012. Belondrade y Lurton 2010, white chosen for the inauguration of the Spanish pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale

21. 6. 2012. Belondrade y Lurton 2010 gets 92 points at the Guide Top 300 wines of the year

The ‘Guide's top 300 wines of the year’, which publishes magazine 'Wine and gastronomy' has given BELONDRADE Y LURTON 2010 92 points, making it the best wine wheel among 60 targets chosen and one of the two seconds best white wines.    This score is the first to be published regarding BELONDRADE y Y LURTON 2010 in specialized guide and tasting committee has described a wine as "lemon yellow lime green iridescence. Fleshy white fruit notes on the nose, like grapefruit and quince, accompanied by aromas of vanilla, white flowers and minty herbs in the background. 17. 11. 2011. Belondrade cracks the chinesse market

Belondrade y Lurton 2009 has achieved the Gold Medal at the III Contest of the Best Spanish Wines for Asia, that took place from 3 to 11 November in Hong Kong, within the scheduled activities at the Wine & Dine Festival. Among  the 327 participants wines from all over the Spanish territory, 171 have been awarded and 28 were awarded with the highest decoration, among which are only three white wines and Belondrade y Lurton 2009 is the only of Castilla y León to win the Medal Gold. Nearly fifty-sector specialists - including sommeliers, importers, distributors, journalists- did a blind tasting in the lounge of Hotel Causeway Bay Hong Kong, taking into account their development, authenticity and provenance. New barrel cellar

After months of work, the construction of the new barrel cellar is nearly finished. The project was designed by the Valladolid architects Odimasp and the design will follow along the lines of the current winery, which was designed by the French architect Vicent Dufos du Rau.     A few meters from the former winery in the plot El Celar is located the new building of 665 square meters. It is going to shelter the barrels, a laboratory, a farm machinery store and a wide tasting room suspended and oriented to the Duero River, overlooking the fields of La Seca. The purpose of this construction is not to increase production but to make the daily work easier in the cellar and to have a separate bottle ageing cellar. [+ info]


19. 4. 2011. The winners of the awards ‘The World’s 50 Best Restaurants’ toast with Belondrade y Lurton 2008 at the celebration dinner

Monday 18th April was celebrated at the London restaurant The Guidhall the awards held every year by the prestigious The Restaurant Magazine.
